Move over, Oprah! Teapotdee has discovered Internet Video and the Co-op is going all out with it! We'll be uploading as many videos as possible into our account and rotating them here. Each video will give a good look at some of our featured pieces while we work on the store. Some of these first ones are a little rough-cut, but we're having fun and learning as we go along.
Right now we've got some fine pieces of Carnival Glass and some old Japanese vases, one of them possibly a very old antique. Click through the videos, most are 3 or 4 minutes long, and send us a note about your thoughts on these pieces. Some are listed with prices and some are not. You can email an offer and then if we reply with an "acceptance" you can use one of the "donate" buttons to send in your payment. Scattered through the pages of our Co-op site you will see some banners (advertisments) for cameras, books and other things from our Amazon account. When you click through those ads to shop we'll get a nice little commission helping us keep the costs down for our members. If you are a paid subscriber, you can get up to $5 a month rebate on any purchases made through our banners. Free subscribers get discounts on shipping.
We are still using the two-tiered membership system. Free membership is available by subscribing to the newsletter and is a good way to get advance notice when we run auctions as well as get some exclusive specials and discounts. The "paid" level is a monthly $6.95 and this gets you the ability to use our consignment services (subject to application & agreement) as well as credit and rebates as a buyer. We give free or greatly reduced shipping to our paid members, as well as the coupon-clipping service. Can't beat that for the price of a burger & fries!
